I was inspired by a trip to Italy where I saw the colourful paintings of the artists, Giotto and Benozzo Gozzoli. The leaves around the flowers and in the sky are reminiscent of the wall paintings of Pompeii.
I chose acrylics because they are bright, immediate and colourful. The subject was from my imagination.
